The Childhood Cancer Webring

NOTE: On September 1, 2000 Yahoo took over the Webring site, including the Childhood Cancer Webring. Yahoo insists that everyone must have a Yahoo ID in order to be part of a webring, plus they sell any information you give them. This commercialism is not what the Childhood Cancer Webring is all about. Therefore, the webring master decided to move the webring to Ringsurf.

What is the Childhood Cancer Web Ring?

The Web Ring is a FREE program that allows 'net surfers to travel from one support home page to another without the need of a search engine. The Childhood Cancer Webring is designed to allow all childhood cancer patients and their families to connect with one another.

To become a member of this Web Ring, all you need to do is make sure that your site complies with the Web Ring Site Guidelines, complete the form provided below, and wait until you hear from the Ringmaster that you have been accepted into the program.

Guidelines:

Steps to joining the Childhood Cancer Webring:

STEP 1:

The first thing to do is join the "queue". The queue is a waiting line of sites getting ready to be added to the webring. Add your web page to the queue by filling out the form below.

NOTE: You must include the http:// in your url/site address. If you don't your page will be deleted from the queue.

When you add your page to the queue, an email is sent to you that contains the HTML fragment you need on your page. So when you get the code, place it in a suitable spot on your web page. Choose a graphic from the seven choices at the bottom of this page. You can place the graphic above the code, or place it in a table like the example below:

After your page has the HTML added and is ready to be in the ring, send an email to Patty and she will check your page to see that it meets the basic requirements, and add you to the Childhood Cancer Webring.

That's it! Thank you for participating.
