Men's Hair Club for Kids

Will provide wigs for children who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. The phone number is 212-818-1152 x24 The person who runs this non-profit charitable foundation is Amy Sperling and her assistant is Lisa Tavitian.

"Hip Hats"

Attractive "hair coming out of a hat" head coverings for girls who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy. The Childhood Leukemia Foundation is offering Hip Hats to girls and young women to 21 years of age based on financial need. Orders are placed through the child's social worker. Ask your social worker to contact Christine Heinen at Hip Hat:

You can also go through the Hair-a-Wear program of the Childhood Leukemia Foundation, a national non-profit that has been providing free wigs with hats for children with cancer for the last 5 years. As stated above, they utilize Hip Hats as our vendor and pay for over 750 wigs and hats per year at no cost to the child or family.

A charity that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under the age of eighteen with medical hair loss. NOTE: 9/01, cancer parents report that they do not give wigs for the temporary hair loss due to chemo and radiation. NOTE: Locks of Love accepts donated hair.
