They are a non profit organization and have lots to offer on general grief and helping others grieve. They had some very good books and easy read pamphlets on grief, support through chronic illness, support for the dying, divorce etc.

A self-help organization that offers understanding and friendship to bereaved families through support meetings at local chapters and telephone support. (They match persons with similar losses.) Publishes a newsletter for parents and one for siblings.

The Compassionate Friends is a national nonprofit, self-help support organization which offers friendship and understanding to families who are grieving the death of a child of any age, from any cause. We have learned that the death of our child has caused a pain that can best be understood fully by another bereaved parent. The site offers articles to read, brochures, and links to other grief resources.
