Bibliographic databases provide references, not provide full-text articles. They provide the title, authors, source, abstract (when available), and other basic information about the articles so you may quickly sort through them to choose those that are of interest. Sometimes MedLine links to a full-text version of an article, either free or at a charge from the publishers online site.

PubMed/MedLine, a service of the National Library of Medicine (NLM), is a database of more than 9 million references to articles published in 3800 biomedical journals may be accessed free of charge on the World Wide Web. NLM also links to many biomedical journals, some free, some by subscription only.

ACOR searches Medline for the latest abstract additions about a particular cancer, treatment, side effects. A convenient way to search MedLine.

CancerLit

CancerLit

CANCERLIT is a bibliographic database that contains more than 1.3 million citations and abstracts from over 4,000 different sources including biomedical journals, proceedings, books, reports, and doctoral theses. Produced by the National Cancer Institute's International Cancer Information Center, CANCERLIT has been in existence for more than twenty years and contains references to the vast realm of cancer literature published from 1963 to the present. CANCERLIT is updated with more than 8,000 records every month. It is a feature of the cancer.gov site.
