SET LUPUS TOPICS=index.html +topic1 +topic2 +topic3 +topic4 (etc.)
**use a +topic for those of the eight valid topics you wish to add;
new subscribers may wish to add +ALL, then customize their subscription
by using -topic for those they no longer wish to receive.
ADMIN is a default subscription to that topic sublist--you are
automatically subscribed by completion of your general LUPUS
subscription.
If you choose to set ALL initially, and then wish to remove
some topics later, you may do so as follows:
SET LUPUS TOPICS=index.html -topic1 -topic2
**Be sure to turn off your signature function and use only the
commands listed.**
There are eight valid topics for LUPUS.
POSTING TO TOPIC SUBLISTS:
to: LUPUS@listserv.acor.org
subject: <topic>: concise subject line reflecting content
text: as relates to question/discussion/subject line
Please sign your messages for posting, including your E-mail address.
REPLYING TO LUPUS POSTINGS:
Use the "reply" function of your emailer. SNIP the
original footer help message from your reply, along with any of
the original post to which you are NOT directly responding.
DIGEST SUBSCRIBERS--Please "cut" the Digest Number from
the subject line on reply, leaving the automatically generated
"Re:" at the beginning of the subject line, and "copy/paste"
the original subject into the subject line for proper threading
of messages in the archives on given subjects.
NOTE: The day you need to search the archives for information
will be the day you will truly appreciate threading of subjects
and concise subject lines!
IF YOU ARE SUBSTANTIALLY CHANGING THE FOCUS OF THE MESSAGE ON
REPLY--PLEASE CHANGE THE SUBJECT LINE, AND EVEN THE TOPIC, IF
NECESSARY, TO REFLECT THE NEW FOCUS OF YOUR MESSAGE. Also be sure
to remove the automatic "Re:" at the beginning of the
subject line if you change the subject and/or topic.
