  • The Alana Dung Foundation was established by Stephen and Adelia Dung, when their daughter Alana was diagnosed with AML at the age of 1.

  • The American Cancer Society .

  • American Medical Association Web Page provides medical resources and physician selection.

  • The R.A. Bloch Cancer Foundation, was founded by Richard Bloch, co-founder and honorary chairman of the board of H&R Block, Inc. He was diagnosed with "terminal" lung cancer in 1978 and now devotes his life to helping others stricken with cancer. There is a lot of inspirational messages on this site, include the book: Fighting Cancer, A step-by-step guide to helping yourself fight cancer .

  • Canadian Cancer Society.

  • Cancer Care provides assistance to people with any type of cancer, at any stage of illness. All of Cancer Care's services are free of charge.

  • CandleLighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of the USA a resource for families of young cancer survivors.

  • Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family alliance is a child centered, non-profit group including families, community workers, and medical professionals out of Houston, Texas.

  • Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Canada.

  •  <--new Chemo Care is a program of the Scott Hamilton CARES Initiative (the Cancer Alliance for Research Education and Survivorship) and the Cleveland Clinic and provides information for cancer patients and their families, caregivers and friends about chemotherapy drugs, their uses, side effects and more.

  • Fundació Internacional Josep Carreras.

  • The Children's Organ Transplant association is a non-profit organization that assists in raising funds for individuals needing organ transplant (including bone marrow transplants). It provides staff assistance, fund raising advice and support, and 501(c)(3) not-for-profit status to local campaigns, making tax-deductible contributions possible.

  • The Childhood Leukemia Foundation, dedicated to addressing the psychological effects of cancer, especially Leukemia on children.

  • The Children's Leukemia Foundation of Michigan, serves adults and children in Michigan with malignant, or potentially malignant, disorders of the blood, lymphatic system and bone marrow. These include leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma. CLF provides peer support networks, a library of literature about hematologic diseases, a recreation program and sponsers some research.

  • Families of Children with Cancer in Toronto, CANADA --for those whose children have been treated at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children .

  • Consumer's Guides for Buying and Keeping Insurance for each state in the USa. Guides covering information dealing with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), also known as Kassebaum-Kennedy.

  • The Jeffrey Katz Bone Marrow Transplant Fund For Children, founded in 1988, it is the only organization in the United States that specifically raises money for children who BMTs. This small, all-volunteer charity, under the auspices of the Southern California Children's Cancer Services and associated with the Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House, has granted more than $700,000 to families facing BMTs.

  • Leukaemia Busters out of Southampton General Hospital in the United Kingdom. The charity raises money to fund research work in The Simon Flavell Leukaemia Research Unit.

  • Leukaemia CARE was formed as The Leukaemia Association in 1967 by parents of children with leukemia. This charitable organazition in England provides support for families with children or adults who have leukemia.

  • Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of america (formerly the Leukemia Society of America) . Some pages having to do with LSA:
    • Houston Police Department Bike Relay Team is a group of Houston Police Officers who donate their vacation time to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America. They have raised over $2,000,000 over the past 17 years. (Their site is not part of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America site.)

  • The Leukemia Research Foundation, a Chicago, Illinois area organization, their mission is to conquer leukemia by funding research into the causes and cures of the disease, and to enrich the quality of life by those touched by leukemia.

  • Lion's Lyfeline Leukaemia Fund, is a fund dedicated to helping theneedy patients pay for the treatment of leukaemia and allied illnesses. It is under the umbrella of the Lion's Club of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

  • The Make-a-Wish Foundation of America , whose mission is "to ensure that wishes are granted to children in the United States with life-threatening medical conditions creating the probability the children will not survive beyond their 18th year."

  • The Max Foundation, named after Max Rivarola, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1988 at the age of 14, he was diagnosed with CML, Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. He passed away in 1991 at the age of 17. The purpose of The Max Foundation is to provide a forum for information, discussion and support to help children with Leukemia and their families from all over Latin America.   • National Childhood Cancer Foundation a resource for families of young cancer survivors. is a non-profit organization which supports pediatric cancer treatment and research projects at over 115 of the most prestigious pediatric medical institutions in the U.S., Canada and Australia. This network of 2800 pediatric cancer specialists is called the Children's Cancer Group (CCG) .

  • The National Transplant Assistance Fund (NTAF) is a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, U.S.A, serving organ and tissue transplant patients, their families. They provide educational information, fund-raising expertise for patients raising money for transplants, and financial support to patients through medical assistance grants.

  • The Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is a national organization of more than 25,000 registered nurses and other healthcare professionals dedicated to excellence in patient care, teaching, research, administration and education in the field of oncology.
